Penetration Tester

Role Overview

As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for conducting authorized simulated attacks on our clients’ systems to identify vulnerabilities before malicious actors can exploit them. This role combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving to help organizations strengthen their security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on web applications, networks, mobile applications, and cloud infrastructure.

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify weaknesses in client systems and applications.

• Develop detailed technical reports documenting findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.

• Stay current with the latest attack techniques, tools, and security vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with development and security teams to verify remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

• Participate in red team exercises to test organizational incident response capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, plus 3+ years of penetration testing experience.

• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.

• Proficiency with penetration testing tools including Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and custom exploitation frameworks.

• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ruby.

• Industry certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN highly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and client interactions.
